  • I don't think my design would go into production but I would like people the chance to try them pairs.
I teach people bocking and most of the time you can get away without altering the height.
What I'm hoping for is I can make them adjust enough so " ONE SIZE FIT MOST "

  • everyone has a completely different height of kneebar since everyone has differnt long legs i guess. so you should make the prototype fitting for you to see if it works and see how other peolple react to it.

My cuffs are very irregular on every stilt since i dont really care much about the height.

  • I'm 6'1" (185 cm) tall if that helps any. Also my fiancé's stilt cuffs are probably 6 cm lower than mine and she is 5'4". Also one of my friends who is 6'3" when he tried my stilts on should have had them 6 cm higher. Hope this helps.

  • I'm hoping that most people have more or less the same because apart from using a booster on the footplate has it will be tricky to add an adjuster into this design.

Thanks for all the input so far but would like a couple more before I'm ready to build a wooden prototype. I work in a wood yard so can get the wood machined there. I don't machine shop was will to pay to have the real parts made for me and I  may need to alter the deign again.
I will be using a S-Rex spring and standard hoof but only because I have a number of those springs, maybe the next extra light version will use a Exo spring.

Has I say if most people have the same height of bar then I can skip the adjusters on these version ?

  • From the top of the footplate to the bolt that holds on my calf cuff is 42 cm on my right bock and just over 41 on my left. I must be lopsided.

  • I'm about to make a totally new design of stilt which maybe hard to adjust the height of the knee bar. It will be no problem for me as it custom built by me but if possible I'd like to rig an adjust on them if pissible.

What I would like to know is how high is your knee bar/cuff above the footplate, the nearest cm will do.
