  • also which software do you use for editing ?? that can almso make it esyer-harder to make nice video's

i quite like useing camtasia studio, partly because i got for free off uni & that it can record what i do on my computer as well. but it has a sympal but effective equting system. and i know one of my friends uses another which also has a guide built in to help although it confuses the hell out of me when i use his one XD

  • If you use a tripod then just put it in a different corner every 30 mins or so. Thats what I do.

If you dont use a tripod, find something in the gym as your tripod like a chair, table, yeti. Anything really.

  • As for the editing, the music would provide some nice links to hard and soft cuts between clips, but since every clip is basically the same you wouldn't notice it.  Try taking all the footage you've got from several sessions with different angles and subjects and cut that together to some music.  All one angle of one subject makes editing an interesting video a challenge.

The thing is, nobody wants to sit around filming the others, everyone wants to bock! The purpose of the videos initially was just for the members to see what had happened on every session, so if we just do frontflips for one night, that's all there is.

We will try to mix things up more in practice as well, right now we've been so focused on getting the frontflips and the high jumping to work! :P

  • I'm jealous of the gym setup, the cost, and the number of bockers you're able to meet with on a regular basis.

    Great jumping as well.

I'm also just getting into this whole "editing videos"-thing, so hopefully the clips will get better. This was an attempt to cut it in tune with the music, but I later realized that the music perhaps wasn't the best for that purpose...

  • That gym looks great :)

Yeah, it's quite nice! And we pay less than 9£ per hour using it, which is also quite nice. :D

    Newest videos first.

    • 2012-12-09:
A while back, our club was asked if we wanted to be a part of the opening ceremony of one of the biggest sporting events for disabled people here in Sweden. We of course said yes, and a few weeks ago, three of us stepped up to the task of doing our first "real" show. We hadn't prepared much, but we, and apparently the audience, were still very pleased with our effort!

This is from a broadcast from that event, where the three of us are interviewed and they show some of our "routine". It's all in Swedish with no subs, but those of you who don't know the language, well you can enjoy the moving images. ;)

Our entire show lasted about 5 minutes, and boy where we tired! When training, we are rarely jumping continuously for that long, and it showed in the conditioning. :P

Enjoy! (Jump to 28s to see us.)

A colleague to one of our members came to try out our sport. He brought a GoPro camera which was passed around a bit and filmed a lot that evening. He then edited it and posted it on his blog, "Äventyrsbloggen" (Adventure blog) where he tries new adventurous sports and writes about them. Check it out!

Oh, is there a way to embed Vimeo-videos?

Had a great outdoor session today, which we ended with getting the first footage of outdoor front flips! :)

Four months since the last video, I'm ashamed! Here is a little something from out two latest sessions, not a lot of material to go on, but it gives you an idea of what we are doing!

This is from our fifth indoor session. Just high jumping this time, which makes it a bit boring to watch. I'm also just getting into this whole "editing videos"-thing, so hopefully the clips will get better. This was an attempt to cut it in tune with the music, but I later realized that the music perhaps wasn't the best for that purpose...

This is from our fourth indoor session. A lot of frontflips this time!

A short video from our second indoor training session. A great time with 12 or 13 bockers attending!
