I have spent the day at my local Gay Pride Festival, it was a huge amount of fun. The Prime Minister always comes along to this event. Last year it was Helen Clarke, this year with the new government it was John Key. I was in one of the beer tents when i saw a bit of a media frenzy only to look over and not more than 10 mtrs was the current PM.... meeting & greeting. A big thank you to Locky & Becky for going to the trouble of sending me a video message for my surprise 40th birthday party. I received lots of email messages which were really touching but I was blown away by the effort you went to for me. You guys are awesome

I went out this evening with some friends, I was invited to a freebie night at a cabaret club by a friend from the TV world over here. He suggested we go to caberet competion event after, which I was well up for as I knew a few of the peeps that were hosting it. The main prize was a return ticket to Sydney Mardis Gras next weekend...... OMG..... I fecking won the prize!!!!!! I am off to Sydney on the campest flight ever! The trolley dolleys are drag queens, some of the funiest I have ever met. I cant wait....I am so stoked!!! I have always wanted to go to mardi gras and now I get to go there for free...... This is gonna be the highlight of my summer.
I am sure some of you wont be the least bit interested.....but I am a majorly happy bunny
