I'm onkston, 24, from Southampton. I just got some 7s the other week so I'm a complete bocking noob
I've only been on them about 4 times so far, I didn't get much of a chance last week but this week I've been on them. I've only been outside once though and that was only in the garden lol I was going to go down to the local rec today but it started raining
When I first tried them on I walked up and down the corridor because I figured that would be a good place for my first go as I could use the walls to prop me up if I needed and wouldn't need to worry about falling.
I really couldn't believe how quickly I was able to walk without holding on to anything. I had read about how easy they are but when I first put them on it didn't seem like they would be.
I was even drinking that day too and before long I was hovering(?) in my room with a drink in one hand and a cigarette in the other (I'm trying to quit
), with those big old jumping stilts attached to my feet.
So if anyone asks me if they really are that easy, I'll tell 'em "Hell yes! I was drunk on my first go and still found it as easy as walking with my own legs"
So now I've joined this forum that I found while researching what bocks to get (excellent info here btw
) and I hope to get lots of advice, tips and knowledge from the members here. I hope to be jumping my way around very soon.
